Industrial Hazardous Waste Management, Transport and Disposal Services
What's the difference between a Large Quantity Generator and Small Quantity Generator under RCRA?
Under RCRA, the difference between a Large Quantity Generator (LQG) and Small Quantity Generator (SQG) comes down to how much hazardous waste a site produces each month, and that volume determines almost everything else about how strictly it's regulated. An SQG generates between 100 and 1,000 kilograms of hazardous waste per month, can accumulate waste on-site for up to 180 days, and faces lighter training and contingency-planning requirements. An LQG generates 1,000 kilograms or more per month, can only accumulate waste on-site for 90 days, and must maintain a written contingency plan, designate an emergency coordinator, provide more rigorous employee training, and file a Biennial Hazardous Waste Report with EPA. Getting the classification wrong — even by miscounting waste streams — can put a facility out of compliance with storage time limits it didn't know applied to it.
Hazardous Waste
Many waste streams present risks to the environment (i.e. plants and animals), waterways, or to the public in general. The EPA regulates the storage and disposal of these substances. As a top environmental services provider, we are licensed, permitted, insured and skilled at transporting almost any hazardous waste that your company can generate, in any quantity.
Our courteous, professional drivers typically haul substances like hydrocarbon-impacted soils, flammable or corrosive liquids, poisons, PCBs, RCRA-Hazardous debris and soils, asbestos, mining waste and more. Their expertise makes sure that getting waste from cradle to grave is managed efficiently, safely and in full compliance with Mining RCRA Waste and DOT regulations.
Record-keeping also presents challenges to many waste generators. We excel in understanding those regulations and helping you maintain appropriate compliance. Furthermore, we partner with multiple disposal facilities; that lets us offer an array of treatment or recycling options at competitive prices. That same arrangement helps us offer impartial advice on the best outcome for a given waste stream.
We dedicate ourselves to you, our customer, to providing the absolute best solution for your specific needs. That dedication explains why although many hazardous waste companies exist today, Enviro Care shines as the best.
