Safety & Compliance

hazmat vehicle8 Steps to Our Safety Based Culture:

  • Leadership: Commitment from the company at all levels – from President, CEO, Management, Field Technicians, and CDL drivers that we support “Stop Work Authority”. This principle will be demonstrated in the workplace regardless of position or title.
  • Define Safety Responsibilities: At each level of the organization an explanation of policies, goals, and plans for the company’s wide safety culture to return home to our family and friends.
  • Share Your Safety Vision: Making sure that everyone is on the same page by actively implementing the established goals and objectives for our safety culture.
  • Education/ Training: Company wide weekly safety meetings are held with a wide range of topics throughout the industry. Some topics include confined space, handling of hazardous materials, fall protection, DOT regulations, or current work-related conditions and near miss situations.
  • Communicate: This is an integral function at all levels of our business. We communicate daily, weekly, and monthly about being a part of a safe work environment. Safety messages are shared at the beginning of every meeting, whether you are in the office or out in the field.
  • Reporting Safety Issues: Employees are encouraged to report safety issues not only to protect each other in the current situation, but to prevent future accidents from happening. Managers and supervisors respond positively to safety issues that are raised, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Enforce Accountability: Processes have created that hold everyone accountable for being actively involved in a safe work environment, especially managers and supervisors.
  • Celebrate success: Make sure to highlight publicly good practices to keep everyone motivated throughout the process.
